When I participated in the Apartment Therapy January Cure, one of the first tasks was to bring flowers into the home. One of the things I suggest in my Interior Alchemy Sessions is that you write a letter to your home, a thank you - a love letter of sorts. So I combined the two: flowers and a letter.
Dear Home,
Thank you for all you have provided for our family over the past year AND SOME. You have been a sacred container for our family stories and memories. We have gotten more comfortable here over time and really made you our own. we do our best to keep you clean + organised and to decorate you to reflect our family values.
You have been witness to all of our emotions and held space for us to contemplate, rest, regenerate + celebrate. We have been able to live life authentically. We create our dreams here and share our meals here. We are grateful, we are truly blessed to call you home.
You have been a container for play, exploration + creativity for our Son. AnD OURSELVES. We have each carved out our special niche.
An Amazing JOURNEY IN AND OF ITSELF.
You have been our base to travel to and from. We look forward to returning to you after our family adventures. You know we love to travel and are always TALKING OF movING on, but for now we are staying on a little longer and we are grateful to you for holding space.
We look forward to the year to come. Thank you for being with us. Thank you for being you.
Much LOVE + LIGHT
BE Wonderful.
LaToya
xx
p.s. I hope you like the flowers.
