dandelion wish

INSPIRED LIVING IS...
  • aligining your life with your beliefs (you get to choose what feels aligned) - create your own formula + then leave it behind if need be.
  • based on your thoughts of what a good life is + using that to guide your focus.

  • choosing what you want to honour + what you want to leave behind
  • it is exploring self + what makes you tick (including feelings + emotions)
  • is taking action that is based on your values - living by personal values
  • choosing how you want to celebrate your everyday
  • it is focusing on your chosen goals + finding solutions that fit your needs.
  • overall living fully in the lifestyle you choose
We all have our own idea of what an inspired life looks like - embrace your unique inspired life.

Fulfilment (Redefining Success)

IMG_7376.jpg

Work hard, be passionate about what you do and don’t worry about success because if you do the first two things right then success will follow.

Orlando Reindorf

What if I flipped the tables.

What if I measured my success by my actions verses the results? What if i measured success by the level enthusiasm that fills my day. Then it will like feel more like joy, rather than hard work.

that is fulillment

that is inspired living.

CLARITY (can emerge from chaos)

005_office.jpg

this glimpse of the desk where i used to create reminds me that clarity is possible, however fleeting it may seem at times.

i have created in this space for the past 2 years or so. I am so grateful for the light, the space + this beautiful large wooden desk which was here when we arrived.

Sometimes this space was clean and prestine as shown and sometimes it was all over the place. Because when you create there is bound to be mess, and piles, and things in progress.

There was a complete evolution to get to this point (a story i will save for another time). This space was never stagnant.

as this space is deconstructed it feels more chaotic with the drawers emptied + contents on the floor + spread across the desk to be sorted (discarded, passed on, or moved into the bus). I am reminded again of what i carry + why. reminded of my intentions + values as i choose what to keep.

would be lovely to do it all in one swoop, but there are other things that must happen concurrently (including the same process in the other rooms). so i might sort a few things, then read with Z or head to the park. then a bit of time to alter the journal or frame a collage. then off to see J play music. a moment to post a pic here then time to make a meal. then time to measure + sketch the design for the cabinets (on the bus) that will recieve what is kept. then off on other adventures with Z and J.

the fullness of this life!

its amazing what we fit in.

this time of reflection is so valuable because it reminds me that clarity returns.

I wrote these ramblings about a year ago while I was preparing for our move into the bus - our tiny home on wheels. It reminds me of life's cycles. We have lived on the bus for about 9 months now and we are going through another purge and reorganisation. So necessary in a small space. These memories above remind me again that CLARITY RETURNS  - no matter how far you may stray or how chaotic things may feel in the moment - take time to reflect on your experiences + relish the good times, the acomplishments - the successes, the fulfilment + you will find yourself back in the FLOW.
