Legendary (connecting to the divine within)

Dear Me, Legend has it that I AM your Divine self - the Soul.  I AM your guide - I have lifted the veil. I AM the LIGHT - the ENERGY.

I AM eternal part of Source here on an experiential PASSAGE. I chose lessons + the basic outline of the story in advance, but you have always had FREE WILL. I AM your Higher Self.

Legend has it that many rotations before this current iteration you were part of the creation of the codes of this realm and on each return I have left breadcrumbs as reminders - leading you back to yourself+ back to SPIRIT. -There is nothing you need to seek, all is WHOLE, all is within. All is well.

I AM creativity embodied. I nurture the soul. I create SACRED SPACE. I am optimal health. I AM creation stories. I AM inner child. I birth higher vibrations. I AM interior alchemy. I AM the things myths are made of, yet above all I AM the everyday. You are not stuck and you are not doing it all wrong. It's a process so stay awake.  I AM in more places than one. Dear Searching Self

Dear Searching Self, What are we searching for? Sometimes I know exactly what it is. At other times it feels much more like a detour. Really it goes in cycles.  At times we have searched for road maps, or for the bypass out of hard times. For some magic answers. At other times we see these uncomfortable moments as opportunities. 

Searching self you are a collector of understanding (you are books filled with underlines and annotations. Journals with notes and musings). You are intimate conversations with family and friends. I love the nerd you are.

Searching Self I love that you are a seeker of expansion and I love your open mind. You draw connections and see that it all boils down to THE SAME THINGS. It just resonates differently each time the words are rephrased.

You are a soul searcher seeking infinite possibilities + miracles. Trying to remember why we are here. You are a magic seeker + life long learner. You seek time for yourself and space to be creative. You are wanderlust. You love adventure and seek new destinations to explore + experience. You search for the keys to intuitive living.

Searching self at your best our experiences bring us WONDER. At other times you frustrate me and I wish your urges were not so strong... i wish you didn't think so much. Remember all that joy Contented Self promised? Remember to be easy on ourself in this search... we must believe we are NOT LOST.

You search for FLOW, yet this ever elusive BALANCE can feel like hard work! Especially when you create these ideals of mothering, partnership, and purpose. Let's find pleasure in the discovery rather than comparing our journey to that of others. Beware of over analysis + perfection + arming yourself with information. Remember life is not uniform for everyone... we are on our own unique journey.You're searching for that FULL life, but remember it can not be found, instead it has to be LIVED.

Remember to embrace the which you have already found + rediscovered. Honour that. Honour those moments of happiness and wellbeing shared with family. Honour your growth. There is more to come!

Forgiveness (an Aspect of Freedom)

LET THE PATTERNS (play) I WONDER about seeing things in a new light this piece is infused with the energy of growth + renewal

Forgiveness is one of our main life lessons.

Many years ago I finally realised the true importance of forgiveness. I had the insight that for as long as I held a grudge I was locking a piece of myself in stagnation. I was not getting even with anyone and I was only making myself more uncomfortable.

I also realised it was easier to forgive some events and people more than others. And sometimes no matter how much I thought about forgiving I still felt resistance. So when this came I chose to pray to forgive. I put it into the hands of a higher source, and as I revisited the incident I gradually felt the release.  I also began to see how each situation has a learning attached to it.

Forgiveness is Freedom: Removing judgement + reclaiming personal power via choice. It is unconditional love + compassion.

At some point I also remember discussing the importance of forgiveness with my mother and she also suggested prayer.

Awareness was key to seeing where forgiveness was still needed. Where I was still tying energy to the past. As I released I felt more freedom. And I was able to realease more quickly when new concerns arose.

I also wrote a list of where I felt forgiveness was needed. I looked at the situations from a new perspective. I looked at why I felt wronged. I had to witness my feelings with clarity and nonattachment to being right. I left the list on my altar and revisited it every now and then. It feels good to let go in this way.

I also began to realise the importance of self-forgiveness.  You know this is needed when blame, guilt or shame (the victim archytype) holds you back from living freely. You become aware of how you are beating yourself up, even in the smallest ways. As I began to practise this, I began to take things less personally.

I choose To be guided by LOVE.

Affirmations: “I am willing to forgive myself and others for any mistakes in thinking, which were made during this day. I choose peace of mind in exchange for releasing these errors in thought. I ask that all effects of these errors be forgotten in all of time by all concerned.” - from Doreen Virtue, Chakra Healing

I forgive myself for everything i have done in my whole life + beyond. It lead me to where i am now. I learn from my mistakes.

Notes on Forgiveness to explore futher:

• Alpha waves for forgiveness and love.

• Honour the Body + Mind through forgiveness

• Cleanses emotional wounds + allows for mental healing.

• Healing = truth + forgiveness + love leads to a new earth.

• Dis ease is in the mind.

• "When you touch a wounds + it does not hurt you know you have healed. Memory/ scar may remain, but will no longer hurt."

• Let go of pride - personal importance.

• Forgiveness calls for practising unconditional love - surrender to love + stop resisting life. Accept all things.

Resources:

A book that helped me to understand forgiveness on an even deeper level was Radical Forgiveness which i found while searching the internet. I had read radical self love and thought about radical forgiveness. I found a link to a free download of the book along with worksheets.  I have not made use of the worksheets, but reading the book was so helpful in embracing the concept that all experiences are for our highest good, no matter how the appear. And sometimes we act things out unconciously to help each other to grow spiritually - we help each other to experience "challenges" so that we might gain INSIGHT that futhers us along our life journey.

Reading the 4 Aggreements has also aided in this and is always uplifting to reread. Reminding me that empowerment lies in the fact that you can change the dream + make new aggreements.

Healing

A few years ago I began to AWAKEN to concept that it is a healing journey we are all on. A remembering and embracing of WHOLENESS of self.

I believe that this healing directs us to our higher purpose + if we choose we will begin to remember (open to infinite memory) to access our unique roadmap...

Although I sometimes take the scenic loop road before I get back on the path, all is as it should be, because the map evolves...

The healing map I hold has been leading me to share the transformation that occurs when we CREATE SPACE INTENTIONALLY.

The Lenses I use on this journey are INTERIORS, IMAGINATION + INSPIRATION: from decluttering to decor, from being a listening ear to carving out time for art, from sharing to receiving on so many levels.

Healing is always a personal journey and it envolves all of us; the mind, the body, and the spirit.

Healing Involves:

• Regeneration - recovering faith in self.

• accepting ourselves as enough.

• healing wounds + forgiving self

• 3 Stages: Transmutation, transformation, and transfiguration

• A path the happiness+ Wellbeing

I SURRENDER

DAY 1// a release + an expansion

comes with letting go.

not controlling the specific outcomes of each day. openning to new possibilities + inner guidance

at first it's subtle, but there is always new found awareness + trust in what life + spirit has in store.

I intend to let go a little more each day to make space for that which awaits me.. allowing the wisdom of the divine feminine to arise.  forever changed.

DAY 2// the wise one within

knows. she tells me to be still to hear her guidance. she teaches patience + divine love if i wil stop long enough to listen.

today i reflected on living my truth + what came was compassion for the journey + strength for the long haul

I have never really delved into the divine feminine but i feel the time is right to explore + nurture this aspect.

here is a bit of floral pattern play for today

MAIDEN (new beginnings)

DAY 3// fallen red flowers collected from the roadside

barefoot strolls on the grass+ maiden botanical mandalas

a dip in the creek where two gods met again for the first time (arrived + departed between rainfalls). she said be grounded

check in with the brow - connection to reality.

say a magic prayer + be open to hear the answers + ready to act when called

contemplating the maiden archetype as part of #sacredmooncycles a six day challenge hosted by @lunarnourishment  i knew i wanted to work with red flower petals when i woke today, but had no idea where they would come from. we went for a drive + right before we turned into our campsite we pulled to the side of the road + there was a tree shedding red flowers.

I decided to make one of my first mandalas on the grass. Then we headed to the river + zephyr met a boy named apollo.

MOTHERING (intuition + guidance)

DAY 4// mother uses her intuition + she provides direction through comforting reassurance.

yesterday after getting some busy work done we headed to the ocean, the water was calm in the cove we found ourselves in near the jetty. i love being near the water, but i am not usually the first to jump in, especially if it is cold.

but yesterday with the intention of mothering myself for #sacredmooncycles with @lunarnourishment i thought: the ocean is a mother... surrender + be held. I jumped straight in to my own surprise... allowing myself to float on my back + look at the sky. The salt water allowing me to relax + float with ease. I spent the rest of the afternoon reading rise sister rise (which i found at a shop just before we headed to the beach). I think spirit often speaks to me through books because with them i am quite an attentive listener... so of course after stating that i wanted to delve into the divine feminine this book found its way into my hands... haha when we were leaving the beach i found a white feather... feathers are my sign i am on the right track. Much gratitude for this life.

DAY 5// always exactly where i need to be.

today i found my diary for 2017 direct from the author + the artist at the belligen markets. This has all the moon phases for the southern hemisphere.

GIVING

(deep gratitude + appreciation)

Day 6 of #sacredmooncycles with @lunarnourishment

december has been a month of really focusing in gratitude so this day of giving was right on time.

I spoke my gratitude to my husband + son for being all they are + all that they do + for sharing this life. I also sent messages of gratitude to a few others to let them know they are appreciated.

to all the lovely souls i have have crossed paths with in this lifetime. each of you mean so much to me. thank you.

i really believe in each + every one of you. I trust that you are capable of reaching your dreams. I see the beauty in your story + your evolution.

so grateful to be here in this time sharing these moments + these possibilities
