Her story can be found in Our Infinite Power to heal : 101 Inspirational Stories of profound Healing Within by Emily Gowor & Rae Anthony.
Karen Guides us in a process including a smoking and guided meditation to connect to our intentions and inner wisdom. The Meditation was created by Catherine Jones for Heal yourself with Writing.

Karen Reys Wilson is a descendant of the Gugu Yimithirr Nation, Western Yalandji, Badjala, and Djirrabal people of Queensland, Australia. She is an Aboriginal Artist, Healer and Visionary.
Karen’s signature Aboriginal Cultural Healing Program offers a pathway to finding one’s own Truth, Acceptance, and Light. The healing ceremonies for women of all ages cultivates the re-birthing and re-awakening of one’s Spirit (Wawu) bringing forth the inherent potential in each individual to create a more meaningful and purposeful life. Karen’s incredible gift in making space for healing and journeying in a safe, nurturing and non-judgemental way leads to an inner peace, calm and a clearer vision.
Karen’s personal and spiritual journey through her art practice and business CEED (pronounced seed, Community Engagement and Education Development) has empowered her to play a key role in facilitating social change and emotional wellbeing. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Graduate Certificate in Indigenous Healing Arts, and over twenty years’ experience in Indigenous and cross-cultural education that includes an Associate Lecturer.
“Shadows reflect what’s happening in the present. A change of lighting can alter its perception.” – Karen Reys
Karen’s vision is to build shared spaces that acknowledge one’s self-worth and value the concept of unity. She teaches Indigenous knowledge and wisdom as a commitment to the Ancestors, Mother Earth, and to keeping the Dreaming alive.
